  4. 04STORAGE — AZURE BLOB

Tap to explode

A canvas-style learning management system where moderators create courses, assign instructors, and manage enrollments. Role-based access spans users, instructors, moderators, and admins via Supabase auth; course materials — PDFs, videos, quizzes — live in Azure Blob Storage over a relational PostgreSQL schema. The React/TypeScript frontend serves dynamic dashboards, assignment tracking, and calendar-based progress views.

Tap to explode

XPen$e wallet app — personal credit cards screen
Printed reproduction — not to scale

A wallet app that answers one question at the register: which card? Merchant data is read over NFC/EMV, located via the Google Maps API, and fed to a Perplexity AI model that recommends the card maximizing rewards for that purchase. Auth0 handles authentication; Supabase stores card metadata; the frontend is Next.js.

Tap to explode

TripPlanner — date search with calendar view
Printed reproduction — not to scale

A day-planning web app that syncs with your calendar and fills the gaps: given the events you already have, it suggests nearby restaurants between them using the Google Maps and Calendar APIs. Built with React, TypeScript, and Next.js on Firebase, with Auth0 authentication.

Tap to explode

SynchroCode — collaborative editor with live chat
Printed reproduction — not to scale

A web-based code editor built for seamless collaboration: edits propagate to every participant in real time over WebSockets. A Node.js backend fans out changes, Quill.js drives the editing surface, and Firebase handles persistence.

Portrait of Rahul Sharma
  • 01LEETCODE: REGULAR PRACTICE
  • 02INTERESTS: SYSTEM DESIGN · AI · DISTRIBUTED · LOW-LEVEL
  • 03OFF-HOURS: VIDEO GAMES · PHILOSOPHY

I'm Rahul — a CS senior at George Mason and, most recently, founding engineer at TheCollegeTech, where I designed systems and then lived with my decisions. I care about interfaces that feel considered, backends that don't fall over, and the space where the two meet.

Between classes and shifts keeping 450+ lab machines alive, I'm usually deep in LeetCode or reading about system design, AI, distributed systems, and low-level programming. Off the clock: video games and philosophy — usually not at the same time.
